The Foundation is Incorporated under the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179) of The Republic of Ghana And Having Complied With The Provision Of Sections 27 and 28 Of The Companies Code of 1963, was Entitled To Commence Business On The 17th Day Of February 2016. AFGACF currently operates within West Africa.
OUR MISSION: Our Mission is To Educate and Assist Needy Girls and Children in Deprived Rural Communities through Education and Micro-Finance Assistance and Work in Partnership with Individuals, NGOs and Institutions around The World to end Poverty and Social Issues that affect Girls and Children Particularly in Rural Communities.
OUR VISION: Our Vision is to adopt and implement investment promotion for poor girls and their children through SMEs. SME is critical for economic and social development of emerging markets. It plays a major role in creating jobs and generating income for low income families thereby fostering economic growth, social stability, and contributes to the development of a dynamic private sector.
Establishments of at least one Vocational Training School and Day Care Center in four (4) major rural Communities where we operate.The rationale behind this is to lessen the burden single girls/ teen age mothers face in caring for their children while learning or working after and during the successful completion of their training.
Multi Stakeholder’s Partnerships. This will enhance global partnerships for sustainable development, complemented by multi-stakeholders partnerships that mobilize and share knowledge, expertise, technology and financial resources, to support the achievement of the sustainable development goals in all countries, particularly in under-developed countries. We desire to build the capacity of Girls and Children so that they can effectively address issues confronting them and play a major role in the development of their communities.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
1. To establish schools for less privileged Girls and vulnerable children in Rural Communities.
2. To train and build the capacity of needy Girls at all levels for sustainable development.
3. To assist vulnerable Girls and Children through Education.
4. To reduce the high dependency rate of Girls in Rural communities through income generating activities.
5. To address Social Problems associated with Girls and Children in Rural Communities and create a more Humane Environment for them.
Unless we can help the world’s poorest create a better life, no one’s prosperity can be secure.
